went to WWW with Karissa, Kaiyih, Hweepeng & Siewting yesterday! It was fun but tiring!





the shiok river is shiok because the water is warm!!! it was so dam cold & we were like shivering outside when we move from one place to the other..

I just realised my name is in the list of 2001 National piano and violin competition winners ( under semi-finalists of the intermediate category) on the National Arts Council website.

I went to watch the finals of the competition of my category alone. lol. Left only 4 participants. No. 11 15 18 & 20. Final round was concertos.. and their concertos were all those loud and showy kind.. so even if i manage to go in finals, if i play my concerto i will only malu myself, cuz concerto nothing showy to show. haha.

In the end.. they were NO first prize.

2nd : no.18
3rd: no.20

honourable mention: no.11

Honourble mention prize is for those finalists which didnt get 1st 2nd or 3rd but played well...

went with my father and uncle JEFF to watch the semi-final round of the piano senior category today

all of the semi-finalists impressed me:D

my father says i can be the judge already.WAHAHAHA.

i am disappointed..

didnt even manage to get in semi-final again zzzzzzz

out of 4 times i took part... i only managed to get in twice.. in the year 1999 & 2001

AHHHHH.. i think the reason could be i slipped some notes cuz nervous and the judge didnt let me play the showy part !!!!! what the... they stop me when i was reaching that part !!! Somemore my remaining songs are not showy enough... those pros like to play songs which are showy.. very loud and those which show off technique

some funny things happen today though during the compeitition

1) one participant wore sandals and clothes which look like an auntie going to the market which obviously is unacceptable..................
2) one participant had constipated facial expression throughout his whole playing LOL
3) better not mention cuz i think it's too embarassing for the participant
4) another participant was too nervous that when the judge told her to continue her next piece, she told the judge that she was unable to play anymore and walk off

Ms Tan ( piano teacher) treated all of us SWENSONS at holland V !!! yay. haha. how nice of her. Ms Tan is the coolest piano teacher i've ever met. pretty and pro xD
