12 June

Went with my mum and sis on a 1 day malaysia trip with my mum's church people to kota tinggi and desaru. Went to the Ostrich farm, fruit farm and watch fireflies.

17-19 June
Went with my church to port dickson.

19 June
I was required to attend the Yamaha Scholarship Ceremony. I saw rabbit Liti there and another girl from La salle. Got our cheque! yay! but... the sad thing is... to be continued to the next paragraph

I received good news from NAFA saying that they are offering me another scholarship which is worth more than the yamaha, however, I cant have any other external scholarships if I take the nafa one... So have to return the yamaha cheque. :(
Both the scholarships add up still not enough to pay school fees loh, yet still don let me keep the yamaha.. :(

But still, thank the Lord for his blessings on me. :)

I cut my hair yesterday at QB housefor the first time! not bad leh... I like my new hair and they give out free combs. lol.

I went out with my family to Takashimaya yesterday, bought a bag and 2 cooking pans.
This is like the first time in history that our whole family went out together after so long, like 1000 years? lol.
Father suggested that we go to Bugis hawker centre to eat, so we went. and since it was so near my school, I went school after eating. hahaha.

I had another call today, asking me down for interview, this time from NAFA. Ahh. This thursday. Feeling a little scared again. God give me strength and wisdom.

Sigh. I'm already trying my best to spilt my time over many things and people.

Why do you say this kind of things? So do u think so bad of your own daughter ??? You think i'm so heartless?????? So you think I'm the BIG QUEEN in the house? I'm 21 years old and I'm still like a kid? I don help any housework means i'm a kid? But cant you see that I'm trying to help out. I'm washing my own clothes. And when you're not around, I tried to sweep the floor and clean up a bit. U just didnt see. I too felt bad that when I come home, there's so much dinner left cos I ate outside, but I tried my best to tell you that I wont be eating at home. I got sms you to tell you. I'm really trying.

How could you say such things like "I don hope that you all will take care of me when I'm old, if you take care then ok, if dont want to take care I also don hope for anything , only hope how long i'll live more"

it hurts..............

why is it so hard to communicate properly with parents sometimes? I already tried so hard to be patient

I'm happy! I survived the interview today!!! and I saw Mr Eric Watson! haha

Just checked my results today.
Thank God for both OUR results!!! WE really got a shock but... YAY!!!!
I mean I really seriously got a SHOCK of my life, it's like better than my yr 1 sem 1 result loh.
Dont know how I did it sia. LOL! dots!
We went to benten for a good dinner! ate main course + challenger ice cream, yay!

NAC just called me today.. Got shortlisted for interview on 3rd june. That is like next week. Ok, although I'm happy but I also think it's scary. I just think interviews are scary.lol. It's like every word u say must be very careful, say wrong that's it. lol. And I heard there's 8 people who will looking at me. oh man.

I havent been blogging since the concerto competition. haha. Decided to update a bit.

Actually I'm not feeling very good since ytd. Sigh.
I think too much, and cant help thinking too much.
Cant help thinking about the worst case and the consequences.
I just hope that after doing the test everything will turn out okay. *prays*
And also, I've been having frequent headaches which makes me a little worried about what's wrong.
I think i'll only feel better after I go to the clinic. Hope I can do it asap.

So anyway, after the concerto competition was the preparation for our programme notes and History Seminar on 15 Mar.
It was horrible because our question is at the first week and we only had 1 week to do everything.
NOT ENOUGH TIME!!
We didnt sleep for the whole night and still cannot finish loh. However, thank God that me and yuqing managed to survived lah. lol.

Watch Nodame Movie on 4th March. Super funny. They make Nodame until like damn retarded lah. -.- lol. still got the last movie which havent come out.

Gonna catch the last episode when it comes out! :D

Performed 8 hands with Samuel, Wei Yang and Kseniia at Nafa Piano Masterpieces Concert.
Our playing went well! But what surprised me was that the audience seats were so empty!
It's like on stage, with one glance I can easily spot everyone at the audience seat. LOL
I still wanna thank all my friends who came. Thanks alot for your support!!! Very touched...

Yay! I leveled up! I survived
My crazy days are finally over!!! 2 movements in 2 weeks, to learn the notes, memorise, practise accuracy and expression and play to actual speed. Both the movements are quite fast. Really super crazy.

Whee! I've completed a full concerto and performed it for the first time in my life!

The piano catergory list for concerto comp just came out, and I'm the last one! Out of 12 people.
Out of 12, 4 playing mozart(if im not wrong), 3 playing beethoven, 1 playing Grieg, 2 playing Saint Saens(including me) and 1 mendelssohn and 1 Shostakovich

omg, I'm already like so nervous now! and the symptoms seem quite jia lad just now.
Whole body felt jelly, then felt like I'm burning hot... And had headache and felt nauseous. -.-
Oh man. I wonder what will happen to me on tues! whole body shake all the way. LOL.
I hope my teacher can help calm me down that day as he's my accompanist. A sense of security. lol.
Well, actually to be honest, I dunno if I'll be even more nervous when my teacher is there..AH! Maybe like more stress to play well if not waste his effort.
Ah. I think my before-performance fright is quite bad sometimes :(

Circus Scenes(For clarinet and Euphonium) instrumentalists in action!

MANY MANY thanks to Wei Qiang and Ralph for their wonderful performance playing my piece!! :)

This composition platform is slightly different from the normal one as it features some compositions from Dr Goh's last semester composition class, and I'm one of them. heh. I think I'm just lucky to be chosen! really

I'm pretty sad that Wei Qiang's piece had to be a miss this platform because min jin hurt her hand. Oh well, cant blame min jin also ah. Her hand is already bad enough. Hope she recovers soon! Just hope next time he'll have chance to show case his piece cos his piece is one of the best to me! :D

NZ North Island(22 Nov-10 Dec)

We went for 18 days, felt a bit too long, maybe a little shorter would be just nice.
We landed on Auckland, drove to Tauranga, to Whakatane, then to Rotorua then Waitomo, then back to Auckland. :)

120 Grams strawberry!!!!!!

horse riding at Tui Glen Farm, I enjoyed it the most! Horse treks through narrow slopes and river.. It's super thrilling for a beginner like me!!! actually a bit scary too cos the treks were really narrow and slippery and steep-.-

This is Thermal Village at Rotorua. :) It is really a home for the Maori people there. They used the natural thermal ground for cooking and other uses.

Waitomo Glormcaves was AWESOME! you can see millions of glowworms above you while u sail through the river in the cave... a pity that photos and videos were not allowed in the caves..

Alpha Camp(16-19 Dec)
The whole camp was enjoyable. Got to know some church people better.
1st day was games, 2nd day Amazing race, 3rd day was a fruitful day as we had prayer walk and Alpha night.

The theme verse is from Matthew : "Do not store up treasures on earth, for where the treasure is, your heart will be there also"

Church transfer(20 Dec)
Today was the baptism, church transfer ceremony. My dad and I attended the ceremony, and we are officially members of BPMC =)
Both of us got a very nice new chinese bible respectively as gifts!

Christmas(25 Dec)
was spent with a morning service in Church, followed by 1735 at Singapore Flyer Love the World. Had fellowship and exchange of gifts! I got a book from the gift exchange...lol
The meal was not very appetizing(oops).. but it was the fellowship that matters!

Steamboat(080110)

We had steamboat session at Bugis La Mei Zi, a gathering session just before school starts. Many people came! Han yong, Edmund(left halfway) clement, ralph, yiangshan, baby jo, weiqiang, sianghong, chris shen, sanche, Dr Goh, me, Jimin, yuqing.

I'm finally done with the long update!!!! Well.... It's long to me!!!!

On a side note, I hope my stomach really gets well soon, although I'm feeling better already. I had on off on off pain continuously for the past few days. Still feels a bit weird. It had lasted for 4 days or even longer...Can you believe I paid $65 for my medical fees!!!!!!!!!!!! HEARTPAIN.

found out that they have student price of $6.50 too, nice...

At first didnt really know what the storyline is about, but as I watched on, I understood the story.

Duration for the movie is 3 hours.

My LAST exam, which was my PS exam(piano exam), was at 9.45am today.
I reached school at 9am to warm up and do last minute practising.
I had my heat pad with me, so I felt more stable...
Overall it was still ok, except for minor slips and blurred notes.
For both my scales and pieces.
I made a mistake for my chromatic scale major 3rds apart! O: I slipped when descending but in the end managed to end on the right note. lol.
I had some missing and wrong notes on my left hand for my Bach prelude and fugue and my Chopin etude my right hand running was not clear at some parts.
Argh, performance fright.
Well, at least luckily I didnt break down.
Thank God!

I ♥ my new heat pad from Mu-ee! heh heh.

Today was our guitar exam.
We played ensemble "Quiet Place" together and our own solo piece in front of the whole class. oh man.
I was damn nervous. When I played my piece "Andante Op 31 no1", my right hand was shaking uncontrollably...
Thank God I managed to play until the end without stopping!

JUST 2 more to go! Aural and PS.
At least there's nothing more to study now. Hurray!~

My sight singing test marks was below what I expected. oh well... I hope it doesnt affect my overall and hope my exam can pull up my marks.

Today was the recital for composition class.
I cant believe my composition(titled Circus Scenes, for clarinet and euphonium) was chosen for platform!
yay! I'm so happy! I thought my piece was okok only... oh well..
I felt happy cos I felt a sense of achievement :D wheee..
It was really my very first time composing a proper and complete piece! not to say for 2 instruments!
And special thanks to my performers : Weiqiang and Ralph
I couldn't have done it without both of u! hehe :)

Exams start on this coming monday. Oh man...
TCM followed by theory, guitar, aural then finally my PS.

I bought a strawberry cheesecake from bengawan solo for him!
How rare! (normally we we didnt celebrate his birthday)

We had a funny conversation when he saw that I was holding a box of cake when he came and fetch me home.

Dad: woah, you had piano accompaniment for your friends and they gave u cake?
Me: no lah
Dad: you're specially happy that u feel like eating a cake and u just bought it?
Me: Aiyo no lah!
Dad: your mum suddenly felt like eating cake and ask u to buy?
Me: -.- NO..... it's for your birthday lah!!!
Dad: *thinks and hesitate* oh ya!!! I totally forgot it's my birthday

So funny. He really forgot his birthday. oh man.

The NAFA Orchestra and Chorus will be performing an afternoon of opera favourites this Sunday, 25 Oct, 3pm at the Esplanade Concert Hall.

Admission is free on first come first served basis as there are no reservation for seats.

School has been very stressful and tiring!!!

Today's timetable was from 10am all the way until 9pm. damn tired!

there's a brown cat which always comes in to our house(which is at 4th floor -.-) through the windows, which we have no idea how it came in because we heard from our neighbours that it also went into their house and their house is at 8th floor.

Few days ago, my mum just realised a pile of cat dung in some corner of the house.
The shit is believed to be there for sometime already.... ewww....
My mum is super pissed with that cat. lol.
She's going to wack it till it's pi gu kai hua if next time she sees it coming again...

Hope the cat is smart enough not to come in again if it doesn't want to get wacked. lol.

Brass platform today! helped hui min with her piece =)
Something really bad happened just about 1 hour before the platform lor!!

I forgot to bring the piano score!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the end, hui min took taxi home and brought the original copy(she photocopied another copy for me)...
I was wondering what's gonna happen if the copy that I forgot to bring is the ONLY copy..
imagine I have to rush to woodlands and rush back to school in 1 hour... omg! crazy!

I thought my dad will be coming home to fetch me in the evening after his teaching @ cck and go church together! (because I asked him what time is the thing, he said 7plus...)
SO I waited and waited.... until 7pm like that, I was wondering why he havent come back
I called him but cannot get through
I felt tired so I went to sleep a while, because I thought he'll come back home first...
Then unknownly I slept till 8... and house phone rang

me: hello
dad: "WHERE ARE YOU?!?!"
me: At home(thinking that there's nothing wrong)
dad: WHY ARE U STILL AT HOME!!!!!!!!!!
me: !!! OMG!!! I thought u coming home!

SO actually he meant that I'm supposed to go church myself .......
SO in the end he played without me(means without piano accompaniment)...
I feel so guilty and bad!

nafa fun day

Fortunately I was able to go to the fun day and have fun! my stomach pain luckily recovered by then.

I think it has been about 2 years since the last time I went to wild wild wet with my JC friends. haha.

It was quite fun, but the sun was so blazing hot and strong.
I liked the biggest slide where 4-6 people can sit together on a raft best!
Omg. The water was VERY salty and the water kept going into my mouth.
I was sunburnt! My hands and legs, became so so so wrinkled! as we were in water for quite long..

My face is both black and red now, I dont wanna go out >.<
I'm feeling so tired from yesterday..

I'm helping my dad in piano accompaniment tonight for a small performance for the mooncake festival at church! He's playing the erhu... oh well...

I had a very very jia lat stomach pain yesterday! OMG SO SCARY

It happened like this:

I had a very NICE dinner with my godparents and their family outside at Mount Faber Safra(kids wanna go there as it's children's day).

Then after dinner, they didnt send me home, but sent me to queenstown mrt station instead because it was not convenient.

I felt slight stomach pain when i alight their car, and thought that I'll alright until I reached home.

Halfway during the mrt ride, the pain SUDDENLY became very very very bad. It was so bad until I felt like I couldn't breathe! I cannot stand properly, I almost collapsed, I was bending down and trying to adjust position that I could take it because it was so pain.

The stop from clementi to jurong east seems sooooo long.... like forever...

The worse thing is, the people in the train saw me standing, and like wanna faint liao, yet nobody gave up their seats and seemed like pretend like they never see.>[

When I reached jurong east, I chionged out like nobody's business and sit at the seats there because I really felt like collapsing and my legs felt like jelly.
A stranger asked me if I'm ok and offered some stomach pain killers, although I didnt accept his pills, I really appreciated it.

When I was able to walk, I went to the toilet and camped. Only after that, I felt slightly better and managed to take train home. And at home I camped again.

Thank God I'm ok now... so scary...

Exams schedule are out! omg!
It just felt as if school just started yesterday and now it's already coming to an end soon....too fast... really too fast.

Anyway, today an earthquake of 7.6 magnitude strucked Southern Sumatra Indonesia while we were having our SAS theatre! OMG!
Although I didnt really feel anything,(I think I was not feeling so well, so even the building shaked I won't think that much because I'm shaking as well LOL) but many of my friends did! That's how I got to know...

How come I didn't feel it shaking! Maybe I was not feeling too well at that time!

Platform was ok i guess although I played many wrong notes right at the start. lol.
At least we didnt have any major breakdowns or mistake and Ralph didnt blame me so it was ok. LOL.

Just... It suddenly seems to me that friendships are so fragile....
People can be in VERY GOOD terms with each other at the start, but both can become almost like strangers all of a sudden.
It is happening around me.

Today while I was in the mrt on the way to school, I was lucky and I managed to get a seat(reserved seat) at admiralty.
of course I was happy! cuz I dont have to stand all the way till dhoby ghaut.
So I sat and sort of slept. Was tired.
Then when the train was somewhere near yck, I felt someone tapping me so i woke up and a lady asked me politely if I mind giving up my seat to a pregnant lady among the many people who were standing.
Of course I wouldn't mind, but because I didnt see the pregnant lady.
I quickly stood up from my sleep. LOL. And gave up my seat to the pregnant lady.

Felt a bit sad that I've to give up my seat at yck because it's hard to get a seat, and especially for me, it's a long journey. I really want to sit in the train during the long journey every morning.... I know I very kiasu HAHAHA.

But I think i felt good cos I did something considerate today! :)

Anyway, ahhh.. I just knew that my godparents booked the air tickets for end of year trip already! oh man..I should be happy but now... I'm a bit scared... cos i'm not going with my own family and I've to overcome stress of having going with their 4 kids (age 6 and below).
obviously coping with 4 kids wont be easy, just like last year..

And omg! Deja Vu! My sis is going to taiwan end of year again for school programme and i'm going to NZ again.. and it happened that we're leaving on the same day but different place! OMG! LOL

Is that a good thing or bad thing huh?
Good thing cos I passed, bad thing cos if it's just 1 mark less I fail...
And my aural test result.. I cant do the rhythm!!!

li shi day was good!

because the food(buffet) was nice! LOL!

we played tug-of-war at labardor park!
I must say something very funny! at least funny to me..
we were playing tug-of-war among ourselves,
and there were a group of indians watching us play i guess,
I think they just happened to see us,
and they were inspired by us.
They requested to borrow our rope to play among themselves.
And the way they co-ordinate and pull is super funny!
Cos when playing tug-of-war, a guy should be standing at the front and at the back,
but an indian auntie actually stood at the back of the rope! lol!

It was funny for us and at the same time fun for them.

very lame. -.-" nothing tastes right today.

My sis bought cheese rings and potong ice cream from bangla shop. yucks. Taste lao fong(inflated?) and taste like the packet put in the shop for very long and then they still sell.

Then I ate durian potong ice-cream. tastes weird and yucky. doesnt taste normal. I still ate the whole thing though.

Then I went to the fridge and took a chocolate bar. omg. taste like shit. Taste like some kind of low quality choco, in the end i threw it away.

Then I wanted to make some home-made soya-bean milk. And it just happened that there's no hot/warm water, so I used cold water. once again tastes weird. Actually the soya-bean powder already tastes a bit weird, not enough taste, so i wanted to mix some honey stars to improve the taste and know wad? the honey stars also lao fong!!!

Give thanks despite tiring week.

4th week of school has just ZOOMED PAST.

I give thanks to the Lord for everything, things that has happened, things that I have gone through, even though things doesnt always seem to go the right way and although this week is a very tiring week for me. Still, thank him for helping me get through.

This week was tiring.
slept late(cuz doing keyboard studies hw) and woke up early next day
Despite sleeping late and wake up early, I was mostly out the whole day until late at night
I'm so sleepy! my eye lids felt like closing all the time! not enough sleep ar...

felt a little sad after PS this week...He ask me to play the harp etude which i told him i didnt prac much,(I played badly)instead of playing the f major etude which i practised quite hard. Went home late as I went to godfather's house after that.

Had cell on fri night. Menghui had a cake, but the birthday boy didnt come cos something happened last min? aww a pity.

Just came back from yyxz(ying yue xiao zhu) practise just now.
kinda stress... cuz need to play for worship service tmr, then I'm suppose to play almost all the intro of the songs. :SSSS pray to him that he'll help me manage!

I'm freaking scared. I'm so freaking scared.

I want to watch the movie UP!!

Yesterday I missed my stop while on the way home without realising.
Ended up at marsiling station.
So, I had to take one stop back.
Missing a stop was already bad enough, then something lame happened to me while I was waiting for the train @ marsiling station.
I felt that somebody was looking at me. Saw a guy looking at me.
Then I quickly turned my head away and walked further away.
It didnt make things better.
Suddenly, I heard somebody calling me "whoi" then i turned and got a shock because THAT GUY (WHO WAS LOOKING AT ME) WAS STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME.
To make things worse, he asked if I could give him my number just like that and even asked for my age.
I TOTALLY WAS LIKE "WTF?!!?!!" Then I told him "it's none of your business" LLOL
Only after I said that, he walked away with that you-better-watch-out facial expression. scary. lol. He looked like a small boy to me though. pai kia. later ask his gang come find me. lol. Luckily the train came not long after then I quickly board the train.
*phew*

didnt know such crazy people exist. -.-

Anyway saw the very negative reviews on the Li Yun di concert last friday.

Although the comments mentioned in the review were somehow quite true, but i think it's really quite mean to criticize his playing in the newspaper until so badly. hmm. Although his playing was really not up to standard, but I thought at least it wasn't bad until there wasn't a single good thing about it. That's what I felt. But maybe it's the attitude that he had for this concert that was not so pleasing.

I performed Khatchaturian Toccata for music platform today.
Glad that I did not mess it up. Thank God.

Jieying wants to thank God that he really saved her from retaking a module!
And that she is still able to continue studying even though she didnt get a single scholarship
And that things have turned better.

Have just gone through the first week of school.
I'm still not THAT busy(but busy still LOL), cuz choir, composition and sight-singing have not started as dr Goh is not back yet, and PS havent start too
so at least still can relax a tiny winy bit.
wait till all the lessons starts man.
Doesnt look like it's gonna be easy.
There are more lessons which starts earlier in the morning(9am)and it's 2 hour lesson
and on tuesday it's two 2-hour lessons in a row from 9am to 1pm.
Ugh I don like!
I was slightly late for almost all my 9am lessons except for the first day and this is just the 1st week. How sia? :S
and I kena theory group ldr I don like!
And we've decided to take guitar for CDE(cross disciplinary elective)
no idea how is it going to be like as we will required to practise which means another instrument to practise
and keyboard studies is now all of academic work(similar to dr kan's) which was totally different from year 1 which was practical work, gosh

Not forgetting to mention
Yesterday Li Yundi performed Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 1 with the SSO!
but before Li Yundi's solo which was the 2nd half of the concert, the SSO played the Rustic Wedding Symphony Op. 26.

Although not perfect, but awesome still!
I think quite worth it for the price of my ticket. ha ha ha ha

Met up with WQ and rabbit yesterday.

We watched Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs @ Plaza Sing. It was super nice and funny! I like it! I think it's the kind of show for me. And the 3 baby dinosaurs were so so so adorable!

Before the movie, there was a japanese food exhibition at first level, then we bought a box of 12 mini donuts and shared. $4 for 12. It was delicious! :D

After the movie ended, we bumped into Li meng and Zi lu and from them we only realised we could have gotten the student price($6) on weekdays before 6pm. -_-

I had a funny conversation with my sis when I told her I was going to watch Ice Age 3.

Me: I'm going to watch Ice age 3!
Sis: *laugh* not harry potter?
Me: Why must it be harry potter?
Sis: It's the 1st day Harry Potter movie came out and you all go Ice age 3, very funny leh
Me: funny meh? we like ice age more what
Sis: Everybody all rushing to cinema to watch harry potter, then u all squeeze with them to watch ICe age 3
Me: -__- lol

HAHAHAHAHA.

Anyway after the movie ended, we went to eat dinner at kopitiam.
Then we were at the hong kong cafe, and rabbit saw the menu which says "siew mai 一笼 $2.80" and she damn happy and bought it cos she thought 一笼 there were 12 siew mais, then in the end there only 3 tiny ones. and she totally gave the -_- face. Somemore she da bao and need to add 20 cents more. hahaha. super funny! but poor rabbit..

Then we all ate ice cream and rabbit's prepaid card entitle her to a piece of kfc chicken and she treated me. So nice of her!

I think i'm rather quiet sometimes, but it is not the inner real me.
When I keep quiet it's because
I find myself not being able to comfortably say/express whatever I want
I find myself not being able to be totally myself
I'm afraid that I will say the wrong thing
as a result I'll rather prefer NOT to say anything.
I dunno why is this so, I dunno whether the problem lies with me or what,
but I just find myself not being able to do so

aiya, it just sucks not being totally your REAL SELF.
ahhh. but that's really how i feel. :(

Sakae Sushi buffet with KY & Karissa @ Lot 1 today [:

We did something REALLY BAD!!
*guilty*

We ate until SO FULL that we gave up eating. HAHAHA.
We felt like puking when we see sushi.
And we felt like puking even when we saw other really nice food after that.

I was SO FULL that I even sort of skipped my dinner.
I still thought I would be going home for dinner so I told my father I'm going home to eat,
but I found myself not being able to eat
as a result I wasted food :(

Just another update!

4e5 class outing was on 27th June.
It was a great outing! (Ian and eugene must be damn happy cos they organised LOL)
Met yisi and the guys @ woodlands mrt @ around 8am.
That's the earliest I have ever met my friends for an outing man LOL
Set off to Sentosa. Mr Toh came also.
It started to rain when we reached there, but after a while the weather become SUNNY AND HOT. -_-
we played ultimate frisby
the others played some other games but i didnt join in cos weather was VERY hot and im not very keen in playing volleyball :/

After that we went to Juliana's singing performance at night.
We missed the first half. lol. but heard her sang 带我走 for the 2nd half.
not bad not bad. [:

After that went to eat supper together, then went home.

Secondary sch life is still quite memorable huh. haha. >D

UPDATES!! (:

I know it has been a long time since i update on my batam church retreat trip(13 to 15 june)! LOL!
oops I did say i will post pictures
so...
shall update then!

We(my family) met at church at around 8 in the morning. We were separated into 4 buses. we were also separated into different groups. After all the adminstration stuffs, the buses brought us to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to check in and wait for the ferry.

On the way to board the ferry, we had to walk some distance to the boarding point. If i remembered our ferry was called "The Prince". hahaha.

Then a short bus journey from the terminal(around 5 mins) to Pura Jaya Resort!

My family was separated into 2 rooms!
Mum and dad shared a room by themselves,
my sis and I had the whole room to ourselves. HAHAHA.

Maybe you cant really see the difference but their room is still nicer than ours cos can see the sea and ours can see more of the building -_-

and this is where we have all our worship and activities..

and i was involved partly in the music team! keyboard of cos. heh heh. Xiuhui, Norman and I took turns to play. It was quite a good learning experience(improvisation) and a chance to worship God using the skill that he has given me (:

okay.. i didnt know i could look so serious...lol..

The food served at the resort was only soso...
Actually i think my mum's cooking was better. haha oops
their food was not very hygenic also, i see flies landing on food

During the second day of the camp was OMG!
because second day was a shopping day!
It gave us super headache calculating how much things cost, trying to convert from rupia to sg dollars.
totally omg. S$1 is around Rupia 6500.
we were like "how much is this ah? how much ah?!?!" LOL
and lunch was not provided in the resort(only that day),
so we had to eat lunch ourselves at the Nagoya Hill shopping centre(30mins bus ride from the resort)
There are smokers EVERYWHERE in the shopping centre.
Smoking inside air-conditioned shopping centre. omg. it sucks.
And i am super sensitive to smoke.

somehow i feel like 1/10 of a millionare! lol!

1 meal costs around 20k to 30k o_O
I saw cheaper ones though

that's what we ate which cost $79200 omg! (in rupia haha)

The baked rice is so deceiving! It looks okay on the menu, but actually it's SO damn tiny bowl can! omg! You compare the spoon size and the bowl.. -_- I think few mouthful can finish liao lor

But luckily they gave us a free mini pizza, if not we'll be hungry still, cos baked rice was so small and somemore i shared it with my sis. -.-

My sis and I went to the arcade there also! Cos we saw they've got the PIU machine! LOL!
It's 5000 rupia for 2 coins
that PIU machine requires 2 coins, a bit cheaper than s'pore lah~

Mum and dad were making themselves comfortable on the "osim chairs" in the arcade LOL!

and celebrated my gan ma's birthday too! :D

Although I said i wanted to change my image but i think i will give up in the end! haha cuz i think there's too much to change and i would just give up! LOL! Wasn't able to send her off at airport cos my dad doesnt allow

well at least we had dinner at Plaza Sing's Ajisen Ramen before she left, sent her off at her place before she left for the airport =)

And this is the first time i ate ajisen ramen.
Not bad but quite ex sia. lol.
I would rather eat sakae buffet for that price. haha.

I'm dying. The weather is SOO unbearable. I'm sweating every minute every sec. 100ml of sweat/min. -_- does this shows that global warming is getting worse? (duh, obviously). I agree with an article in the newspaper, that planting mroe shady trees is the best solution, rather than leaving the air-con for longer periods or adjusting to a lower temperature which worsens global warming.

I finally washed my own clothes today. in fact the first time. lol. unbelievable? I hv been nagged to wash them duno since when... maybe im really too spoiled. -.- or maybe not, i just like to take my own sweet time cuz i hate doing house chores!!! lol

My holidays are still as boring. lol. Have been staying at home for this week, playing MAPLE. -.-. (omg can u believe im mapling again? it shows how bored i am) and facebooking(so basically u see me online most of the time-.-), other than practising.
Dunno why i have no urge to practise much also. I feel aimless.
Maybe it's cos i still dont know which pieces i should learn/prepare, whether it's for fun, or preparing for next semester or for EOY competition.
And this sem's results was not very pleasing i should say,
I got a D for Design and Media Spore Arts Scene!!!! I totally cannot believe it!!!!!
ok at least my overall average GPA is still ok, at least i'm still eligible for scholarship. phew.
but the D still spoils my mood!!!!

oh. and. It has been a long long long long long time since my whole family went overseas together.
Just in case u all dont know, I'm going to Batam this sat with BPMC(church retreat) with my family. will be back on 15th. haha no big deal. 2 days only.
Somemore it's only a 45mins ship ride which equals to my travel time to sch everyday. -_-"
And i'll be playing piano in some of the worship sessions there.
Hopefully it'll be fun

Quite a disappointment for me!!!! sob...

My examiner's report

Haydn sonata in Eflat Hob 52 1st movt- There is good strength in the playing. Pedalling is not always wisely employed- scalic passages never sound effective when pedalled, and there were a few 'quick' pedals which were not noticed, resulting in the blurring of harmony. Nonetheless the overall effect is positive

Chopin nocturne in Fsharp, Op15 no 2 - The general mood was there, although a sense of magic cand fantasy was only sometimes conveyed.

Khatchaturian Toccata - This is clearly something you love playing. You have plenty of strength and play it at good tempo. The middle section did contain 3 or 4 misreadings (accidentals). Overall, committed, with good concentration.

My pedalling for haydn and the mood for chopin!! pulled me down... i guess... ):

Made a dvd of my recordings for my godfather's birthday yesterday. Some credits to my friends for helping. Thank God he was quite happy with the present(as the playing and recording was not perfect). He kept watching it non-stop LOL. It's the thought that counts..

oh and i read in the newspaper saying that Auckland in New Zealand is said to be the number 1 safest country. haha. Singapore is the 23rd safest, Malaysia is the 26th. And.. some countries i could remember is the USA is 80 plus, and Iraq 145! lol.... I know it's random but now at least we roughly know which countries are safer to go for holiday! LOL!

yesterday was officially holiday for me. But there is still no change of mood at all. Instead my mood got worse. I should be shouting yay hooray things like that lol.

sembawang beach.The moon was cool. And the man who was catching squids was cool too. I saw him spreading his net and was curious and went forward then he showed us the pail of squids that he caught. The whole pail was black though cuz of the ink. First time i saw a squid that is alive! hahaha

Quite a number of things happened over the past week >.<

@#%@#*()%#@ !!!!! the entire chunk of my post got disappeared like that. wat is the problem with blogger man, now i have to post again. zz.

I received a very unpleasant call suddenly on last wed saying that i got barred from theory!!! Phoebia for that phone number liao. Gave me 2 heart attacks in a row, and in the end it was not my fault!!! make me panic like dunno wat! I gave them MC like million years ago and they nv record but i thought they did, so i didnt really bother to think abt my MCs. Actually I'm really lucky, because on thurs morning I still went to check my mc dates at the clinic to make sure, if not i think i'll just get barred for nothing...

I went to Malaysia kukup on 1st may labour day with BPMC. It's a 2 day and 1 night thing. Overall it was good! except for first bus which we took on the way there. Like suana -.- cos the weather was VERY HOT and the aircon was like also HOT. -.- it only got better when we ended up opening the bus ceiling to let the outside wind come in. Other than that, everything was good! the food, fireworks, scenery, games(I won the 怎么看都不登对karaoke 奖), chalet :D:D The main thing we learnt from the trip : WE SHOULDN'T TAKE AIR CON FOR GRANTED! LOL! Gathering in church 6-7am in the morning, sleepy sia

I reach home at about 5pm on 2 may. Then i rushed down to raffles city again, my goodness so far, lol why am i complaining when i too travel this distance to sch everyday. hahaha. ok anyway, i went for guild dinner. It was good too, except for the food at shokudo, food was not very nice yet so expensive and the drink also, taste like sai and cost like 3 bucks. In total i spent 12 bucks dunno for wat? i felt like i nv eat anything. LOL. Overall the guild gathering was good though. Though every1 quitted maple and our guild died in game, but the bonding is still there. Though not gonna be soon, still will be looking forward to next guild outing. hahahahaha.

I think i'm really going jibaboom bcos i haven been doing work....and deadlines are getting closer...like really seriously closer...

Can u believe it? I ate sakae sushi for the first time! with my godparents on sat, for dinner at cwp. This is the first time im eating at sakae, dont u find it unbelievable? hahahaha. ok anyway it was nice but ex... perhaps thats the reason i had nv eaten sakae, simply bcos it's ex.

Today was quite a good day at church ba. They distributed free cookies(which i took as much packs as i can since got extras) and there's free lunch(maybe it's gospel sunday today). While waiting to go esplanade, hanged out with teckyi joshua norman they all, played some piano and basketball. Well no offence, to me sometimes I feel quite sian when u feel that friends doesnt appreciate the classical music that u play. it's like u haven even play half of it, they request for a change of song liao. lol...

then rushed off in the evening to esplanade for the westwinds european fair concert. oh my goodness. things just have to be so coincident. Band scene is SO damn small... Time flies man it has been like almost 2 freaking years! haha.. but anyway i think it doesnt matter to me anymore..

competition's over! =) pictures taken aroud an hour before the comp with other year 1 contestants,despite our ultimate nervousness. >D I can be considered to be the only singaporean who took part, which adds on to my nervousness :((((( sobs.. I was not that nervous at first, but as it gets closer to my turn my legs sort of started shaking. :S I started my prelude way too fast and i didnt realise it until i heard the recording of my playing!! LOL. My liszt's tempo was also too fast and had too many wrong notes and i even had a slip towards the end!(at that point of time i already felt dead tired, lost my focus) im sort of struggling =((( but well i shouldnt be too upset and disappointed with myself as I've tried my best and my teacher wasnt too unhappy with my playing. though nv get in finals(i think too many wrong notes n tempo too fast), but look at the bright side, it's good experience and... I can now concentrate on other things! and im grateful to know that there are people who supports me! thanks!

my right ear suddenly hurt like crazy yesterday night! really is crazy! really hurt until i cry... yes it's that bad. luckily after I've taken panadol it became better, thank GOD! if not i don need to sleep liao, and don think i'll be able to wake up to play for ballet exams and i'll be in trouble.

I was feeling so terrible that i was praying that the pain would go off. thanks TY for praying for me too! somemore in the middle of the night. thanks!

My sore throat was so bad that if affected my ear! (i had sore throat too) according to the doctor. just seen doc jus now. aww man. this is the first time my ear hurt so badly. actually it's still hurting now, but not as bad as ytd, much better le. I hope after eating all the pills(i hate pills cuz i still cant swallow -.- ) it will recover totally. hopefully by mon!

IT show was from 12 to 15 march. I went there a couple of times to look at laptops and finally decided on which laptop to buy on sun. At first was eyeing on a axioo lappy (the brand is so ulu and never heard before) cos quite cheap and specs looked good. stayed at the axioo booth for so long and asked so many questions and bargained with the axioo person but in the end we didnt buy, instead went to the hp booth for a few mins and bought from there. hahaha shucks i think that axioo guy must be cursing at me..

It was raining the past few days and i saw something quite shocking on sun when i rushed to work. I was walking along the shelter from mrt station to my workplace and i saw a tree fell onto the shelter and part of the shelter was dent. it feels like it's going to collapse anytime when i walked under it. scary. even the police came not long after and closed up the area..

I feel that everyday is so tiring...

i'm tired !!!!!!! and there's just too much work to be done and i havent started on anything.

and why am i always falling sick !!!!! i feel sickish again. bad headache! aaaa cannot be so weak !!!

My ps was cancelled today again(last fri also), cuz tcher sick(why he always sick when near our exams or competitions!). cui...

and so i went to IT show today! feel like buying the lenovo s10 idea pad which costs $649.. haha.. but im still so indecisive, cannot decide. because there is NO DVD DRIVE !!!! and i think many times we'll need to listen to music cds or rip cds when doing our sch work and although can buy external dvd drive but it's like quite troublesome. The thing which i liked abt it is because it's portable and very small and light!

should i buy? :X

and omg... it's 10 days to LWPC. 10 days ONLY !!!! my goodness! Even he gives me 100 extra lessons all cramped in next week i don think i'll be able to absorb everything in time la. God bless me!

yesterday when i got home the first thing my sis said to me was "the hamster is missing!!!" my reaction was "WHATTTTTTTT ?!?!?!"

the cage was properly closed ytd but maybe the cage was not properly closed during some point of time and it got out and we din even know. i really have no freaking idea what happened -.-.

I don even know it's alive or dead now. and it's impossible to search the whole house(my house is impossible to search). and it might have jumped down becos the cage is at balcony and the corpse might be already not there(probably cleared by cleaners) i don even know.

and i guess the new bought hamster food and sand will never gonna be opened

I survived the week of duet test, harmony test, and listening journals deadline!

Thank God the insane week has passed !!! LIKE FINALLY... A BREAK... next week study week no lessons! YAyay yipee! but still needa go back for some make up lessons so still not considered holiday... but well, at least a break.

CAUSEWAY POINT NEARLY BURSTED YESTERDAY! with people! ALL 4 floors were totally packed...

I was standing at the 3rd floor for like 2 hours ?!?! and i'm like dying already and i tell myself i wont do such thing again and im not even a crazy fan of them, I just wanted to take a look. My sis even worse! she stood for like 5.5 hours. wonder how she can tahan... -.-

while we're doing work at esplanade on the floor today, a random uncle came past and said to us "wah, u all so scary!"

probably because of... look at the mess we've made below hahahahah

well similar to previous years i went to my 姑姑's house on chinese new year eve（ sun) to have reunion dinner. however this year my family only ate dinner with grandpa 大姑姑 cuz my 表姐and family needa go somewhere else.

then on first day of cny, my whole family went to msia to visit relatives on my mum's side. long bang 六姨丈's car. we almost lost our way cos of the msia new custom lol. and and.. my cousin has his own car alr and he's only 18! so cool lor! i also wanna learn driving one day!!! (but no car leh ): only got scooter)

this year's a bit diff cuz when we went back to sg on tues, me and my sis went over to 六姨's house for a night(without my parents around). yay freedom! hahahahah. we went to singapore river 春到河畔 at night! the trip was not bad(though there was ALOT OF PEOPLE)! cuz our parents wld rarely bring us out ):

actually we din do anything much there also, only eat LOL. and mind you, the food there looked delicious but it tasted the opposite. eat shark fin soup $2.50, no shark fin but alot soup n egg. pineapple fried rice $3 no pineapple at all and like no taste. -.-.

and after sleeping over for a night at my aunt's place, i got red spots all over me and super duper itchy for unknown reason! mayb is due to mosquitos! but it's a bit funny that one night i can get so many bites. then next day sis n i went to our respective school straight.
